Smithfield
Smithfield is located in the parish of Kirklinton.
The ruralvillage is approximately 8 miles north of Carlisle, it has a population of around 250.
The main road through the village, the A6071, leads to the nearby market towns of Longtown (west, 4 miles) and Brampton (east, 6 miles).
The Robin Hood Inn
Family friendly inn in Smithfield nr Carlisle caters for weddings and other private functions. Great a la carte menu, regular entertainment. The pub is a short walk from the cottage gates.
