The Working Farm and its animals
We have mainly Limousin cattle on the farm with a few Belted Galloways at Keepers. Limousin are a continental breed and provide good, lean beef.
The Rams are Suffolk ( with black faces) and Texels (with white faces) and the ewes are grey faced mules (mainly reared in the north and well suited to our terrain).
Our Collie Dog is called Tig and he is progressing nicely, getting better all the time.
