Keepers Cottage has easy level access and all facilities are available on the ground floor, the cottage can sleep up to 6 people.
The cottage has been carefully renovated to a high standard, but still maintains much character and many of its original features.
Lounge
The comfortable oak beamed lounge has views across the Moss and down the lane through your own wood. A real gas fire will warm you up after a day out exploring and there's digital TV to help you to unwind; two comfy sofas(and of course a special chair for the boss!) - cosy but also plenty of room to spread out.
Dining kitchen
The dining kitchen is spacious and well equipped. We've comfortably seated six people round the table with room for more.
Bedroom 1
The master Double bedroom. All bedrooms wake up to a view of the moss. When you first open your curtains in the morning keep your eyes peeled for deer who like to visit close to the cottage in the early hours.
Bedroom 2
The second double bedroom is the same size as the master so really there are two master bedrooms! Both with plenty of hanging and drawer space and over bed lighting so you can curl up with a good book after all that fresh country air!
Bedroom 3
Twin beds and a sky light - this is loft living country style. The children's favourite room! It's like climbing the stairs to a castle keep (there's only a few short stairs but to kids it's a castle keep!). The room is elevated again with great views across the moss from a small, secure window.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a bath and a separate shower.
Utility Room
Whether you're looking to wash and dry layers of expensive kit after a day's adventure or simply got caught in a shower of rain the utility room is perfect. Right next to the front door you can dump all your wet gear in the washer, the sink or on the drier by the radiator and then make a dash for the lounge (or the shower).
Pets
Well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement.
The Garden
The attractive garden has patio furniture, a swing and playhouse.
Sheep and Cattle graze quietly in the surrounding fields, owls nest in the barn, woodpeckers can be spotted on the bird feeders in the wood.
Stables and storage and Parking
There are stables for those who wish to bring their own horses. They also make perfect storage space for bikes, canoes, climbing equipment and etc.
There is ample parking space and a garage for one vehicle.
Bed linen and towels are all provided.
